What’s The Best Way to Describe Logosynthesis?

Imagine saying a simple sentence and feeling how fear, anger or shame are being pulled out of your system. Imagine how the causes of pain and sorrow stop hurting you.

Logosynthesis is an amazing new system of healing and guided change. It uses the manifesting power of words and phrases to resolve negative beliefs, to let go of fear and trauma, and to lift the burden of grief or physical pain.

Where Did Logosynthesis Come From?

Dutch/Swiss psychologist Dr. Willem Lammers has transformed ancient knowledge and modern theory into an elegant model for guided change, for personal and spiritual development: Logosynthesis.

Logosynthesis has been derived from the principles of many schools of change and contains a model, principles for change and actual interventions, embedded in a holistic view of human nature. Specialists from different schools of thought will detect features of their models in Logosynthesis. However, the combination of effective principles in Logosynthesis is new and unique.

Willem first introduced the concept in 2005, and since then it has been expanded continuously.

The Key Presuppositions of Logosynthesis

  1. Suffering is primarily the result of a lack of awareness of our Essence and of our creative tasks in the world.
  2. Dissociated parts and introjects prevent our being fully aware of and living through our core self.
  3. Dissociated parts and introjects are rigid energy structures existing in 3- dimensional space, rather than abstract cognitive parts of mind.
  4. The power of the word itself is able to dissolve these frozen structures and allows the energy they were holding captive to be reclaimed into the Living Self.

You can apply Logosynthesis to work with clients in coaching, counselling and psychotherapy or as a method of self-coaching to resolve blocks in your relationships and on the way to your goals. Logosynthesis can also help you to neutralise disturbing memories and fantasies.

How Does Logosynthesis Work?

Although Logosynthesis is a relatively new method of guided change, it is simple yet offers profound and sustainable healing at the deepest level.

It is surprisingly gentle, in that it does not require the person to relive the traumas they have suffered in order to get permanent relief. It is effective and is easily applied through simple intentional sentences. This application can be carried out by professionals or can be used as a self-help tool.

Who Uses Logosynthesis?

Counsellors, psychotherapists, coaches, doctors, nurses and anyone working in a caring profession will find this training useful. It also qualifies as continuous professional development for anyone in training or working as a therapist.

Because this is delivered by an accredited Logosynthesis trainer, it also qualifies as part of ongoing training towards becoming a licensed Practitioner of Logosynthesis.

What Can Logosynthesis Be Used On?

It can be used to relieve a variety of conditions which create suffering.  Emotions such as fear, grief, guilt and shame can be resolved as well as disturbing memories, phobias, limiting thoughts and beliefs, bad habits, trauma and stress.
